Return and Refund Policy

We accept returns 7 days from the time of delivery of the item.

In order to initiate the return, we ask that customers contact us via email to yoyo@affordable-buy.com. The email must contain your order number and the reason for the return.

Goods can be returned to our Store in Johannesburg, Spartan, Kempton Park. Please be sure to get approval from our customer service team before you return the product.

Returns need to be in the original packaging.

You can also return goods via your own courier, be sure to get approval from customer service team and send the relevant waybill number.


Defective and broken items:
As much as we strive to make sure that all goods we deliver are in excellent condition, in some cases an item may be defective or broken during the handling of the item.


If this is the case, you can opt for a refund or for the order to be replaced or store credit for future use.

In order for us to look into the issue, you need to first send a video of the item in use to show that the item is defective. 

We will also require you to return the item yourself to our office via courier or in person,return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Correct item delivered, but Item does not fit or meet requirements:
In this case you need to contact customer and provide a video showing that the item does not fit or will not work for intended purpose. 

In this case you will be offered a store credit in order for you to be able to purchase the correct item.

We will also require you to return the item yourself to our office via courier or in person,return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Correct item delivered, but not happy with it (unsatisfactory):
In this case we will ask that you provide with the reasons you not happy with the product.
In this case you will be offered a store credit upon successful return of the item.

Returns Procedure:

1) send an email to yoyo@affordable-buy.com with order number, picture or video, if you wish for a replacement or refund.

2) Customer service checks the information and sends you an email to let you know whether you should return the item or will collect the item.

3) We send a courier to collect the item, or you return the item to us via courier or at our office.

4) We send a replacement or your order is refunded depending on what the client requested.

All refunds will be processed via the payment method used, for example if payment made in Payfast, funds will be reversed through Payfast.

Refunds are processed, and may take between 7 to 10 business days to reflect.

Exchanges:

We support exchanges with 30 days as long as the item is unused, and in its original packaging. If you wish to facilitate an exchange please send an email to yoyo@affordable-buy.com, and provide us with the order number, picture of the item you wish to exchange and the SKU of the product you wish to exchange to. Once we have received all this information, we will send a courier to collect and handover the new item you have exchanged to.

Eligibility for Refunds and Exchanges:

Your item must be in the same condition that you received it.
The item must be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, sale items cannot be refunded.
If the item in question was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return.
Cancellation works differently for different types of orders:

Paid locally made custom gifts & local stock (South Africa)
For Personalized / Custom Products, we accept order cancellation before the product is shipped or produced. We cannot cancel the order if the product is already shipped out.
Paid local or overseas order (pre-order item)
For all the imported products you cannot cancel your order after 3 days (72 hours). After 3 days (72 hours) the processing of your order will proceed.
You cannot cancel your order, as it will be processed and ready to depart.
Out of stock products (Sold out).
In cases of an over-booked / oversold product, we will notify you. We will negotiate a cancellation, refund, or pre-order.
If you wish to cancel an order, make sure that these conditions are met.

Refunds will be processed through the same payment used to make the payment. For example, if you paid though Payfast, your refund will also be through Payfast.
